Alliance Data Systems Corp. , a leading provider of transaction services, marketing services and credit services, today announced that BMO Bank of Montreal has signed a long-term agreement to continue its relationship with The Loyalty Group, an Alliance Data Systems subsidiary. BMO Bank of Montreal, one of Alliance Data's largest clients, has had a 10-year relationship with The Loyalty Group as an original Sponsor in the Canadian AIR MILES(R) Reward Program, begun in 1992.
The AIR MILES Reward Program is Canada's premier coalition loyalty marketing program. More than 60 percent of Canadian households actively collect AIR MILES reward miles at more than 100 leading brand-name Sponsors representing over 12,000 retail and service locations across Canada. AIR MILES reward miles can be redeemed for more than 300 different rewards, such as travel, movie passes, entertainment attractions, electronic merchandise and more.
BMO Bank of Montreal has traditionally offered a broad range of banking products and services with AIR MILES offers and will continue to look for new opportunities under its retail banking banner to provide AIR MILES Collectors more opportunities to earn reward miles. As one example of this expansion, BMO Bank of Montreal in 2001 introduced a Small Business Banking Program featuring AIR MILES reward miles.
